Hale Country Club - Membership engagement

Hale Country Club & Spa are a renowned and prestigious health club. However engaging with their members was still way behind where they should be for a club of their stature. The brief was to create and app for existing members that allowed them to get updates from the club, as well as book classes, reserve table reservations, and create their own spa experiences.


 

Defining the visual design direction

Taking influence from the recent brand refresh, I looked to expand and translate this for the digital vision. Ensuring a luxury aesthetic. Strong, inviting natural earthy tones connect each of the clubs areas,

User Journey MAPPING

After gathering the insights from the research, we had a clear idea of the information architecture and what would be delivered as part of Phase 1 for the app. From this I began to map out the userflows for the different areas within the app.

Scalable and flexible
design system

At the time of working on the project, Hale were also going through a rebrand at the same time of the development of the app, which meant I had to setup the Figma file, to allow for quick changes, such as typography and colours.

This developed into a design system, which was created in Figma, and also allowed the development team to build the components as they were ready early on in the process.
